Radiesse®

Radiesse® is a dermal filler that restores a natural, youthful look with a longer lasting result than standard soft tissue fillers. Radiesse consists of calcium based microspheres that form a scaffold to support and stimulate growth of the body's own collagen. Over time, the calcium-based fillers breakdown and are safely reabsorbed by the body, without the risks of a permanent implant.

Radiesse® typically lasts up to 2-3 years, and is easily injected to the nasolabial folds, around the mouth, in acne scars, and other soft tissue defects with minimal local anesthetic as an office procedure. Radiesse® is also a very effective treatment for rejuvenationg the hands by filling areas between prominent veins, and providing soft tissue volume to skin that has been depleted by age and sun exposure. Optimal hand rejuvenation results are obtained when photorejuvenation (IPL) is added to Radiesse injections to treat age spots that further diminish hand beauty.
